Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must provide accurate details when creating an account and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts may be suspended if they are used for fraud, abuse, or to redistribute copyrighted material.

2. Wallet balance

QuickRead uses a prepaid wallet. Top-ups are verified manually by our team before being credited. Wallet balance is held in USD, is not transferable between accounts, and is used only to purchase books on this platform.

3. Buying books

A purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to download and read the book for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, share or publicly upload purchased files. Downloads are available indefinitely through your library while your account is in good standing.

4. Publishing as an author

By uploading a book you confirm you hold the rights to distribute it. You retain copyright to your work and grant QuickRead a licence to sell and deliver it. The platform retains 20% of each sale as its commission, and the remainder is credited to your author account. Titles may be reviewed, and may be rejected or removed if they infringe rights or breach these terms.

5. Refunds

Because digital files are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, purchases are generally non-refundable. If a file is corrupt, misdescribed, or fails to download, contact support and we will replace it or refund your wallet.

6. Author payouts

Authors may request a payout once earnings reach the minimum threshold. QuickRead processes payouts manually using the method you specify. Refunded or reversed sales are deducted from future earnings.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
